Mithlesh is the mother of three children. She undertook the stitching course in 2018. She came to know about the skill development center through her neighborhood and wanted to explore the option.
She says that she is glad by her decision to enroll for the course. Striking point here is that Mithlesh can’t read or write, but the teachers at the center made her learn in such a way that she can take measurements and also understand basic jargons of stitching.
Her husband supported her in taking up this course, and she is now proud to earn and contribute to the house. She says that now she can claim to have an equal say in the house too.
